Adding via the toolbar
To add content to your page, move the mouse over the content until the toolbar appears in the upper left corner. If you click on the "Add" icon, a dialog with the most common content types will open. If you click on the desired content element, the dialog for "Edit" opens directly. You can now directly enter the content, such as a heading or a text. If you click on Save, the element will be created and displayed on your page. If you click Cancel, the entered content will be discarded and no new element will be created.
Adding by Drag&Drop
Click on the "Content" button in the upper left corner and all content elements will open in a palette, which you can place anywhere on your page. To do this, click on the desired element, hold the mouse down and drag the element onto your page. As soon as you touch an area with the mouse where you can insert a new element, this area is colored gray and an icon is displayed in the center. Just release the mouse button and the new empty element will be inserted in the desired place.
Note
When you drag and drop elements onto your website, automatic editing is always disabled. This means that the element will be created immediately without opening the edit dialog. This way you can create the necessary content very quickly and then edit the individual elements using the pen.
Adding on a completely empty page
If you create a completely new, empty page or if you have deleted all contents of a page, then a hatched box with the note "Empty column" appears on the page. If you move the mouse over this empty column, it will turn into a hand and a modified toolbar will appear, containing only a green plus sign. It is enough to click with the mouse on the empty column to open the content selection dialog. Then you can proceed as described in the section "About the toolbar". Of course, you can also create a content on an empty page using the palette and proceed as described in the point "Drag&Drop".
